They tailor the workout to your exact needs, and they walk you through every step of it. In addition, there is none of the pressure to perform or the "look at how cool I am" feel of most health clubs. It's just a nice place where, no matter what you look like, you feel good about working out.
I can't say enough great things about One2One Bodyscapes in Wayland. The trainers are incredibly knowledgeable and responsive to what you AND your body need. They are encouraging and will push you to your potential but they are not obnoxious about it. The atmosphere is friendly, comfortable and relaxed and I've never felt self-conscious at all about working out like I might at some other places. The space is immaculate and the machines seem brand new. Another great thing is that the trainers will show you different things that you can do at home with ordinary equipment (exercise ball, etc.) or even just using the wall. Finally, it is clear they want to do a good job for you in that they want feedback on your workout to see if there is anything they can do better for you in variety, tempo, etc. I highly recommend Eric, Amelia, Richard and the rest of the trainers at the Wayland One2One.
